Ben Roethlisberger was carted off the field after injuring his right shoulder. Roethlisberger was taken to the locker room for examination after landing hard on his shoulder while being sacked by Cincinnati's Vontaze Burfict on the final play of the third quarter. Burfict drove Roethlisberger into the ground and the quarterback quickly walked to the team trainers and backup Landry Jones began warming up.
