Ranked 29th at strong side DE nationally, Sprinkle from Elyria Ohio joined the Buckeye 2013 class on 4-17-2012. Ohio State beat out Arkansas, Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue and Indiana along with other top notch schools in the mid-west.
