Quarterback Depth a Serious Interest for the Buckeyes After not getting a commitment from 2009 dual threat quarterback Tajh Boyd tonight, the Ohio State coaching staff switched to Plan B and offered in-state State Championship quarterback Austin Boucher from Archbishop Alter High School. At 6-0, 197 lbs, Boucher has demonstrated the ability to play well within a similar offense to what the Buckeyes run. He will need to make a college selection prior to February 5th, National Signing Day for the 2009 class. Ohio State is looking for additional depth at quarterback after losing two quarterbacks to transfer last spring. Austin Boucher v Coldwater in 2008 Regional Finals
